The term "KISS" stands for "Keep It Simple Stupid"
Don't you get frustrated sometimes when surfing on the net, looking for
interesting sites (like mine ?) and there they go again:
webpages full of banners, frames, unnecessary information and popping up
browser-windows you didn't ask for ?
Or html pages with a length of over 100kb, so it takes centuries to load if you only have
a slow internet connection.
And then comes the worst of all: the page isn't interesting at all !
Or you have to click numerous times on some banners to get to the place
where you wanted to go, finding out afterwards that you end up at the place you started at.
(I don't have anything against banners, I only want to say: "KISS".)
So what do you do, after getting tired of all the herassment ?
You click on "Preferences-Java / JavaScript" and disable those two bits.
Rusulting that you often don't see (or find) the things you did look for, since those are also
often written in those scripting languages.
And worst of all this solotion doesn't solve all your problems !
That's why I say that my pages are "KISS" enhanced; I don't use any anoying things
like the ones I mentioned above (though I do use some Jave Scripts in my HTML).
So, turn those two options back on and make a fist against these criminal activities.
